Tesla is About to Ship its 10,000th Model 3

According to Bloomberg’s Model 3 tracker, by the end of the week Tesla will have shipped it’s 10,000th Model 3.

As of March 13, 9,793 Model 3’s have shipped and they’re shipping about 100 cars a day. So, unless the production line is shutdown, we’ll see that goal by Friday.

More importantly, Tesla’s goal is to reach a production rate of 2,500 Model 3’s a week by the end of this month, a rate of 10,000 cars a month, with the goal of doubling to 20,000 cars a month by the end of June.

It seems like a near impossible goal within 3 months, but shipping 10,000 Model 3’s seems worthy of celebration this week.
