Tesla is Approaching 1000 Model 3’s a Week

Tesla shipped 1550 Model 3’a in the 4th quarter.  They’ve also pushed back their goal of 5,000 Model 3’s from the end of March to the end of June.  The one piece of good news is that in the last 7 working days Tesla shipped 793 cars in that period.  It sounds like 1000 Model 3’s per week is close.  That’s no where near where they need to be, but in Q3 they only shipped 260 Model 3’s for that 3 month period.

The current production rate implies Tesla will ship at least 12,000 Model 3’s in the next quarter.  Of course double that give more confidence that they’re going to hit 5,000 a week in June.
